Community Helpers

Community helpers are the heroes of real life.  They are the people who help others.  In a community, different people do different kinds of work.

1. Doctor – A person who treats sick people

2. Teacher – A person who teaches children at school

3. Farmer – A person who produces food grains for all

4. Soldier – A person who protects our country at the border

5. Policeman – A person who protects law and order

6. Engineer – A person who builds houses

7. Firefighter – A person who rescues the people from fire

8. Tailor – A person who stitches and mends clothes

9. Carpenter – A person who makes things out of wood

10. Postman –  A person who delivers letters, money orders to people

11. Shopkeeper – A person who runs the grocery shop, stationery shop, etc

12. Fisherman – A person who catches fish and sells it

13. Driver – A person who drives people from one place to another

14. Pilot – A person who flies up carrying people in the airplane

15. Plumber – A person who helps to fix the broken pipes

16. Barber – A person who cuts people’s hair

17. Cobbler – A person who repairs shoes

18. Greengrocer – A person who sells fruits and vegetables

19. Sweeper – A person who cleans the streets

20. Garbage collectors – A person who collects the garbage everywhere
