Health is the fitness of the body. Good health means fitness of the body free from all ailments. Good health is the real wealth of man. It is a great blessing. Good health is a god’s gift. Certain practices in our daily lives give us good health. It is good to understand these practices and inculcate in our daily life.
Good Health – Meaning:
Good health helps us to lead a happy and peaceful life. It keeps us free from stress, physical pains, tiredness, and medicines. Good health makes us always cheerful, happy, and active always. One cannot buy good health with their money. People cannot enjoy the charms of life without good health. Hence Good Health is an essential one for each and every person.

Essentials of Good Health:
There are few essentials of good health. Food with nutritious value is important for good health. Fresh air is also important for good health. People living in open-air especially in villages usually enjoy sound health. Next comes regular exercises which make our body fit. All exercises including walking are good for keeping our body fit. Sound sleep and sufficient rest are required to make the mind calm. All the above things are essential for good health.
Tips to remain healthy:
There is a certain discipline required to remain healthy. Eating too much food, eating junk foods and fast foods, and eating at irregular intervals also spoil one’s health. Smoking is injurious to good health. We should go to bed early and rise early in the morning. These tips help us to remain healthy always.

Problems of unhealthy person:
If a person is not maintaining his good health, he faces a lot of problems. He is considered a burden on the family. He loses his respect. He depends on others for his day to day activities. He needs someone’s help to do his day-to-day activities. These are the results of bad habits like overeating, eating junk foods, lack of exercise, and other irregular habits. The man who has lost his health can tell us the real value of good health.
Health is wealth:
If a man has wealth but no health, he cannot enjoy his life. But a healthy person without money enjoys life. A rich man cannot have a sound sleep whereas a poor man gets sound sleep. He cannot eat his tasty and favorite food often whereas a poor man eats his tasty food as he has more digestion power. A rich man cannot enjoy any eatable. He has to be more cautious in his food practices. Hence it is true that ‘health is wealth’. If a man is healthy, his attitude to life is positive. On the other hand, if a man does not have good health, he is sick and his attitude is also sick.

Thus, we have to take steps to maintain good health always. It is in our hands. The more cautious we are, the healthier we are. One should not make himself the machine of earning money.
