- Good Morning Everyone.
- I am going to talk on the topic “My School”.
- I study at St. Mary’s School, Chennai.
- Now, I am in fifth standard.
- My School has children right from Kindergarten to 12th Standard. There is a big garden in the entrance and a long pathway leading to the School office room.
- There are three school buildings.
- First building is for Primary Students, the second one is for middle school students and the third one is for higher secondary students.
- We have a separate classroom with necessary tables, chairs and black boards.
- There is also a common library with thousands of books.
- Nearly 200 teachers are working in our school and there are nearly 3000 students studying here.
- We have our Respected Principal Madam who has the overall command and control over our school.
- There is a Spacious playground.
- Our school students play hockey, running races, tennis, basketball, and football.
- There are separate teams for each sport and there are Sports masters to train all the students.
- We have a Sports Day Celebration every year.
- Apart from this, there is a separate canteen with eatables, tea or coffee.
- Some children come to school by cycle. There is a cycle stand to keep the cycles safely.
- We have celebrations like Teachers Day, Children’s Day, Diwali Celebration, Christmas Celebration, New Year Celebration, Annual Day Celebration in our school every year.
- Various cultural activities are conducted on these days pertaining to the essence of celebration.
- Students learn discipline, hard work, tolerance, honesty and more values from school.
- We learn about society, our country, our world and how to progress in life.
- My school gives importance to moral values, academic performance, cultural activities and sports activities.
- I love my school and I am proud of my school.
